An original 1940's Vintage A Line dress, due to it being from the 1940's sizing back then was small, so it would only fit up to a size 8- anything past a size 8 and you would need to be corseted as the waist is small.

The zip has been replaced there for you won't need to fix it in anyway as it as been done for you.
This would look amazing with or without a petticoat, although the petticoat in the photo is not included in your sale, it is only for to convey what the dress would look like with your own petticoat.
